Appointment Types and their time intervals are seen and selected by patients when they are scheduling an appointment with your provider. There may be times when you need to remove an appointment type for a provider’s schedule. This may occur when a provider no longer wishes this appointment type to be available for InQuicker patients to choose when they make an appointment online. You can accomplish this in the InQuicker Console.

How to remove an appointment type:

  1. Once logged into the Console, on the left side of the screen, click on Configuration/Schedule Management.
  2. Locate and click the appropriate Facility link on the Schedule Management screen.
  3. Click the Provider’s name link next to the schedule name.
  4. On the Schedule screen, click the Appointment Types button.
  5. The Appointment Types for this facility, location and schedule screen will display. This table contains the list of all available appointment types for your health system. Appointment types utilized for this provider schedule will have the Use? checkbox selected. Locate the appointment type that you wish to remove in the list. Deselect the Use? checkbox. Click Update to save your changes.
  6. You will receive confirmation in the blue banner that the schedule’s appointment types were updated.
